Four Train Cars and a Street Corner
I reached out to over one hundred and fifty people this morning. This involved four train cars (CTA Blue Line) and one street corner in which I was preaching about Jesus. On the train I went from car to car at each stop, running out to the next car until I got to the end of the train. Most people refused to even look at me. Some snickered as I walked past them. However, six people took my church invite cards and three people said, "Good job. Keep up the good work." One person noted that someone earlier in the week from the same church also reached out to him. He knew because he had recognized the logo on the card. I responded, "Well, you know where you need to be. It's a sign. God wants you to come to church." The man said he would be there.
