Defining Moment
The definition of the word "metaphor" at dictionary.com is powerful.
I imagine that someone with faith and boldness had to write it with conviction. The Bible is full of incredible metaphors front to back, and it's inspiring to know that God is the master of the metaphor. Jesus used metaphors throughout his ministry. One of my favorites is how he calls his disciples "the salt of the earth" in Matthew 5:13. What spice are you?
