About the Artist Careers are a funny thing. I started out in College wanting to be an
illustrator. I changed my mind halfway through and became a painter
because I found that I was losing my love of art because of the
restrictive nature of the projects that they were giving us.
I spent many years after college seeking success and doing what I could to support my family while success eluded me.
Then the internet came along. I had always been just as comfortable
with the programmers as I was with the artists, so I started teaching
myself everything I could about web design. As the years passed, my
skills grew. After doing web design and development for five years fr
other people, I finally built up the courage to start my own business
in January of 2004.
I will probably always joke that what I wanted to be when I grew up didn't exist when I was young. Everyone should always keep their eyes open for new opportunities. You may never know what paths life can take as long as you are willing to look away from the safely paved road. |
